They follow us throughout important fazes in our lives, rejoyce and comfort us in good times and bad and obey our every whim (well most of the time), they see the worst of us and love us anyway-and its often not until they have left us forever that we realize that they were our true best friend. Age old and timeless there is no other creature quite like the dog, without whom cats would have nothing to tease and kids nothing to blame; the dog has worked its way into the heart and soul of the family core and those priceless memory's of life. Unnoticed most of the time, our dogs are constaintly on guard for changes occuring anywhere, but they are especially tuned in to the sometimes minute differences that occur all the time in the people that surround them most often.Sure, many say 'its just a dog' but what most don't realize is that the 'just a dog' knows more about the inner-workings and quirky habits of their life then they do, because that is what they do, watch and listen. Always staying on top and alert, the dog is always very aware of its condition, because when you only have a few years to live its important to not waste it unaware. I think there's something to learn from our fury, four-legged BFF's, so keep your eyes open and your ears perked and be alert for life, or it might slip you by.

Oh yes, they're just exactly what you say, unless their scabby lemons who are entirely self-centered and only obey commands in return for food, and who not only couldn't care less about the feelings of others, do various things to spite certain people. When their like that they're annoying pests who ought to be put down for their own good. But other than that what you say is fine. ;)

Wow, well not like your bitter or anything...
lol Oh no, not at all. ;) But don't worry, it's only toward Gabe, though I feel like I won't be particularly moved when Flurry dies either. ;)
